SHAHI PANEER

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes – 4 medium-sized ( roughly chopped)
  • Onions – 2 medium-sized (roughly chopped)
  • Garlic – 4
  • Ginger – 1 inch piece
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Cashewnuts – 6-7
  • Almonds – 4-5
  • Muskmelon seeds – 1Tbsp
  • Green chillies – 3
  • Black cardamon – 1
  • Green cardamon – 1
  • Cloves – 2-3
  • Turmeric powder -1tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves – 1tbsp
  • Paneer – 200gms
  • Honey – 1tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil – 1tbsp
  • Butter – 1tbsp

Procedure

  • Put a wok or pan on flame.
  • Add sufficient amount of water.
  • Add all whole spices & dry fruits.
  • Boil them for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, switch off the flame and let them cool.IMG_20180825_195328.jpg
  • Grind the boiled stuff to a smooth puree.
  • Strain the puree.
  • Now take a pan.Add oil & butter to heated pan.
  • Add turmeric powder & kashmiri red chilli powder.Saute for few seconds.
  • Now goes the puree, dry fenugreek leaves & salt to it.
  • Add honey & let it stew for 5 minutes in low flame.
  • Dish is ready.Serve it with chopped cashews & almonds._20180825_225936.jpg
